Frequently Asked Questions

Are you insured?
Yes, Bluebird Live Event Art LLC has liability insurance.

How far in advance may we book?
We accept bookings up to 18 months in advance. We recommend inquiring once your venue and date are confirmed, as availability for sought-after dates is often reserved well in advance. If your event is just around the corner, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

How do we choose the moment to be painted?
For weddings, we guide you through a brief 10-15 minute photo and video session to capture a candid moment that becomes the foundation for your painting. For other events, we collaborate with you to create a custom concept that reflects your vision.

What is required to provide Bluebird Live Event Art at the venue?

We provide everything needed for setup. Space requirements vary depending on your chosen experience, but generally we recommend a comfortable 10-foot area and protection from the elements. We work directly with you or your planner ahead of time to determine the ideal location, ensuring a seamless setup that complements the flow of your event.

How long does the finished painting take?
Your finished painting and any additional guest illustrations are typically completed within three weeks of your celebration. To ensure the highest level of craftsmanship, all live paintings are carefully completed in our studio after the event. Final details are refined, and the artwork is professionally packaged. We’ll stay in communication throughout the process.

What happens if the weather changes for an outdoor event?
We will follow the venue’s and planner’s guidance to determine the best alternative setup. For outdoor events, we work closely with you and your planner to ensure a seamless experience regardless of weather conditions. We kindly require a protected area and safe workspace for the artwork.

What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Full cancellation and rescheduling terms are outlined in your event agreement. Once your date is reserved, we begin preparing specifically for your event and turn away other inquiries for that date. For this reason, retainers are nonrefundable. If you need to reschedule, we are happy to work with you to find a new date based on availability.

Are taxes, travel fees, and shipping included in the proposal?
Yes. Every event and delivery experience is unique.
Bluebird is based in Long Beach, California, and is happy to travel for your event. Applicable taxes will be included in your proposal, while travel and shipping fees are calculated based on location and artwork requirements. Any additional costs will always be discussed transparently before booking.
